The appliances look the same across brands, but the way they are installed is not. A rooftop air conditioner on a lightweight travel trailer is fed by a long 120V run and a marginal roof frame; the same unit on a Class A sits beside a second one and shares a transfer switch and a generator. An absorption refrigerator in a Class C is vented through a sidewall behind a cab-over; in a fifth wheel it may be a residential unit running off an inverter.
